About Me

Hello,I am Mr. Klink, I had been teaching 5th grade at Fairview Elementary School from 2009-2014. I have been the Instructional Support Teacher at Mowrey from 2015 until midway through last year, when I became the Dean of Students at WAMS. I am glad to say that I have returned back at Mowrey for the 2018-2019 school year.  Mustang Pride!

Before I was a teacher I worked in two retirement facilities in the maintenance and grounds departments. Those experiences helped me to develop a better appreciation and dedication to applying learning to our everyday lives. Learning does not stop in the classroom, it continues throughout our lives. I attended Hooverville Elementary, East Junior High School, and Waynesboro Area Senior High School within the Waynesboro School District.

My parents were both teachers and, on occasion, they volunteer throughout the school. You could say that education is "in my blood". I attended Penn State and Shippensburg Universities, as well as, Wilson College. I finished my Master's Degree from Wilkes University in the Spring of 2014 and completed my Principal/Educational Leadership Certification from Shippensburg University in the Spring of 2017.

I live in Waynesboro with my wife Sarah, and our children Ethan, and Alyson.  I enjoy many outdoor activities including fishing, hunting, and kayaking. You may occasionally see me hiking along the Appalachian Trail as well. If you see me throughout the community or along the trail, stop and say hello. I have learned that a smile and a good word go a long way!
